Full-stack engineer and architect building products end to end, scaling platforms, and leading AI-integrated engineering practices.

17 years of experience spanning greenfield products through production operations at scale.

Stack: Rails, Next.js, AWS, Agents, GraphQL, Terraform, Ruby, TypeScript, Slideshare, Datadog.

What I focus on

Delivery across the stack, reliability in production, and practical technical leadership.

Build

  • End-to-end product delivery (Rails, Next.js, React, AWS)
  • AI features in production (ML service integration, experiments, rollout)
  • Cloud and platform work (ECS, SNS, Terraform, Fastly)

Scale

  • Performance and on-call incident response
  • CI/CD, developer experience, and systematic tooling improvements
  • Data-driven investigations (e.g., Databricks, funnel analytics)

Lead

  • Architecture, schema-driven and micro-frontend patterns
  • Cross-team coordination (ML, infra, security, product)
  • Documentation and codebase patterns for humans and AI agents

About

I build products, not decks.

I am a full-stack engineer and architect with 17 years building products from the ground up, scaling existing platforms, and leading AI-integrated development practices. I created Yorbit, a SaaS learning platform inside consulting, taking it from idea to 100K+ users before moving deliberately into product engineering.

At LTIMindtree I reached Principal Architect on Microsoft and Aflac engagements, then joined Scribd to own core features for Slideshare on Ruby on Rails, Next.js, and AWS. I am active on call, contribute across security and CI/CD, and lead our codebase-aware multi-agent AI engineering initiative. I presented that work company-wide at Engineering All Hands.

Senior Software Engineer, Slideshare Core

Scribd · Toronto, Canada · Jul 2025 to Present · Current

  • Led codebase-aware AI engineering: architecture guidelines, AGENTS.md as an agent navigation layer, a self-maintaining documentation and code feedback loop, and a nine-specialist multi-agent system (Prepare, Build, Ship). Presented the full approach at the company Engineering All Hands.
  • Owned AI-powered upload metadata end to end, including the API contract with ML services, gRPC integration, React UI, and the experiment lifecycle through 100% rollout; follow-on hardening included rate limiting, storage work, and decoupling.
  • Drove upload funnel improvements: granular logging, Databricks analysis of a large traffic drop, and an incentivized-upload initiative that yielded a roughly 225% increase in plan-page upload CTA clicks.
  • On call for a severe Next.js memory incident (ECS tasks scaled sharply; very high memory use). Root-caused bundling-related logging and a buffered render path; shipped fixes within a day, added a CI memory regression check, and proposed ECS scaling improvements.
  • Delivered CI/CD improvements: stale-build cancellation, parallelized RSpec and Cypress, and a multi-month pnpm migration across Docker and workflows, with on the order of $80K/year in reclaimed developer time.
  • Shipped cross-cutting security work: OAuth/CSRF fixes in cloud storage integrations, GraphQL token invalidation on logout, tightening of an exposed AI endpoint, Google Consent Mode v2, and rapid upgrades for critical CVEs.
  • Integrated the PDF conversion pipeline with automated content moderation via AWS SNS (IAM and ECS changes across Terraform). Won the Cross Functional Award at Hack Week 2025 for the upload integration on an AI document-to-presentation prototype during my first month at the company.

Principal Architect, Microsoft

LTIMindtree · Toronto, Canada · Dec 2023 to Jun 2025

  • Led an 8 to 10 person frontend team within a 35+ engineer program building form-heavy customer-facing Microsoft properties.
  • Restructured 2,000+ line legacy components into atomic architecture and delivered a JSON schema-driven dynamic forms system that reduced new form work from about two months to under two weeks.
  • Introduced patterns later used with GitHub Copilot for end-to-end form generation; designed tenant onboarding/migration and a provider layer that allowed backend moves without frontend rewrites; integrated Copilot into multiple React apps via a shared component.

Principal Architect, Aflac

LTIMindtree · Toronto, Canada · Nov 2021 to Nov 2023

  • Led frontend architecture for migrating six enterprise insurance applications to AWS, including strategy and sequencing.
  • Delivered 21 reusable framework components, five shared services, and five-plus common libraries, yielding at least 15% cost savings per project through reuse.
  • Participated in AWS’s Experience-Based Acceleration Program with direct collaboration on cloud-native frontend patterns.

Creator & Technical Architect, Yorbit Learning Platform

Mindtree · India · 2+ years (within Mar 2009 to Mar 2020) · Featured

  • Proposed a cloud learning platform, secured internal funding, and built it from scratch with four developers; shipped an MVP in eight months on Angular, .NET Core, Azure (Cosmos DB and Azure SQL).
  • Scaled the product to 100K+ users with career tracks, ML recommendations, and graph-based skill mapping; became Mindtree’s primary learning platform and survived the LTI and Mindtree merger when most internal tools were retired.

Earlier roles · Mindtree & Cognizant

Mar 2009 to Oct 2021 · India

  • UI Architect, AAMC: modernized legacy ColdFusion to Angular and Java Spring Boot with micro-frontend architecture.
  • UI Lead, LFG Retirement Solutions: reusable frontend framework for a US consumer-facing retirement application.
  • Technical Lead, Workport (Cognizant): internal workforce management product from the ground up.
  • Client-facing work with Informa, TMP Worldwide, and Viacom: enterprise integrations, micro-frontends, and CI/CD.
